​It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the upcoming VS ASPIRE SAS/LED education day. Mark your calendars as we embark on a journey of professional growth and development.

Our comprehensive program has been meticulously tailored to address key areas essential for your continued success in your career. Join us for a day filled with enriching sessions covering a diverse range of topics including:

  1. Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR):  Latest developments and valuable insights  on navigating this critical aspect of your career advancement.
  2. Building an Exemplary Portfolio: Learn the art of crafting a standout portfolio that effectively showcases your skills , and professional journey. Relevant to CST, ST3 and Portfolio Pathway (CESR) applications.
  3. The Vascular Curriculum and candidate guidance for FRCS Section 1: Exploring the vascular curriculum and techniques for section 1.
  4. Reading Scientific Papers: Enhance your ability to critically appraise scientific papers.  Equipping you with essential skills for research, FRCS Section 2 and journal club reviews.
  5. Preparing  for NTN Applications: This session will provide guidance needed to successfully navigate the NTN application process and achieve success in Vascular ST3 national selection.
  6. Understanding the NHS: Management and Commissioning: Gain a deep understanding of how the NHS operates. Including insights on  management structure, commissioning, service delivery and its impact on patient care and outcomes.
  7. Clinical Updates on Major Vascular Topics: Stay informed about advancements in the management of major vascular conditions including AAA, PAD, and carotid artery disease.
