VORTEX
VORTEX (Vascular Online Resource for Training and Experience) is a new digital education platform where we will deliver high quality free online live teaching alongside providing the repository for vascular surgery education in the UK. The programme is run in conjunction with
- PGVLE platform (West Midlands Deanery)
- NHS England
- Education and Training Committee of the VSGBI
It is open to all UK and Ireland vascular surgery trainees both those with a National Training Number and those who are SAS or Locally Employed Doctors.
A key aim of this online platform is to prepare trainees for the FRCS (Vasc) exam, and the format and delivery will align to the vascular surgery curriculum.
VORTEX offers bi-monthly teaching afternoons, held virtually on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month (3pm start / duration 1 – 1 ½ hrs).
Details of each session will be emailed out in good time as well as being advertised on @vascularwebinar.
