Overseas membership is suitable for consultants or specialist doctors working outside the UK and Ireland.

Associate membership is suitable for:

• Allied healthcare practioners
• Medical-associated professionals

Speciality affiliate membership is suitable for:

• Specialty trainees (ST3+)
• Trainees preparing for CESR

Non-speciality affiliate membership is suitable for:

• Core surgical trainees
• Foundation trainees
• Medical students

Senior membership is suitable for those aged over 65 or retired from vascular surgery practice.

Reciprocal membership is restricted to Open Council members of:

• The Society of Vascular Nurses (SVN)
• The Society for Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Ireland (SVTGBI)
• The Vascular Anaesthesia Society of Great Britain and Ireland (VASGBI)
• British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR)
• British Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in limb Absence Rehabilitation (BACPAR)
