This course is offered by vascular trainees from the Rouleaux Club for people just starting out on the career ladder, or that have an interest in a career in vascular surgery.

The course is suitable for people from medical students to pre-registrar level/equivalent level, however we are inclusive and everyone is welcome to join.  

This is predominantly a practical hands-on course for skills that will suit everyone at every stage.

You will be sure to learn something new!

Objectives:

1. Learn about vascular surgery as a speciality

2. An opportunity to meet and network with current vascular surgery registrars and Rouleaux Club committee members

3. Learn basic skills in vascular suturing

4. Learn how to suture a patch and anastomose two vessels

6. Learn about the basics of endovascular surgery

The cost to attend (which is refunded upon request after the event if they attend) is £15 for Medical Students and £30 for Pre-Registrar Doctors.
