DESCRIPTION:This course is offered by vascular trainees from the Rouleaux Club for people just starting out on the career ladder, or that have an interest in a career in vascular surgery.\n\nThe course is suitable for people from medical students to pre-registrar level/equivalent level, however we are inclusive and everyone is welcome to join.  \n\nThis is predominantly a practical hands-on course for skills that will suit everyone at every stage.\n\nYou will be sure to learn something new!\n\nObjectives:\n\n1. Learn about vascular surgery as a speciality\n\n2. An opportunity to meet and network with current vascular surgery registrars and Rouleaux Club committee members\n\n3. Learn basic skills in vascular suturing\n\n4. Learn how to suture a patch and anastomose two vessels\n\n6. Learn about the basics of endovascular surgery\n\n6 .  Advice on building your portfolio for a career in vascular surgery and more!\n \n\nThe cost to attend (which is refunded upon request after the event if they attend) is £15 for Medical Students and £30 for Pre-Registrar Doctors.\n\nRegister HERE\n\n \n\n
