Following the successful inaugural course in 2025, ASPIRE to Lead - Clinical Leaders Course is back for its second year. The 3-day programme is aimed for Consultant Vascular Surgeons considering or in leadership or NHS management roles or senior trainees (ST8/Post CCT) preparing for consultant jobs/interested in future leadership/management roles. This year, ASPIRE to Lead will be held in the beautiful surroundings of St Catherine's College, University of Oxford and will include topics ranging from leadership styles, NHS finance structures and imposter syndrome to building high performance teams and healthcare innovation.
This interactive course is designed to inspire clinical leaders and will give attendees a broad foundation and increase their confidence in leadership roles. Optional evening activities are designed to facilitate collaboration whilst offering a taste of Oxford, and will include optional punting and a guided walking tour (included), followed by course dinners (included) at the end of Days 1 and 2.
