Consultation on the data and analytics statement of intent

Consultation on the data and analytics statement of intent

NICE are proposing to broaden the types of evidence they use to develop guidance and evaluate its effect. This will involve direct use of a range of types of data and associated analytical methods.

NICE have produced a Statement of Intent to set out the ways in which they already use data in our work, and how they would like to extend this in the future.

Consultation on this document is now live. NICE are welcoming comments from interested organisations across the health and social care sector as well as academic institutions, professional bodies, patient and service user groups, charities and industry.  The Vascular Society will be submitting a response, if you have any comments please send these to admin@vascularsociety.org.uk by no later than Monday 2nd September.

Details about the document and consultation can be found on their website. If you have any difficulty in accessing the document or using the survey to give your feedback, please contact DataAnalytics@nice.org.uk.

We have also been informed that NICE will additionally be holding workshops as part of the consultation. Details of these, including how to register, will be publicised soon here.
