Still places left on the Vascular Society Conflict Resolution Course; Tuesday, November the 25th 2025, Hull, England

During the VS Workforce Committee meeting in February 2025, it was agreed that I should write to all Clinical Directors / Network Leads in the UK and Ireland and offer an opportunity to undertake training of the above programme. It was also agreed that should you not be available to participate, you can nominate a member of your unit who is able to attend.
 

It is hoped that in the next two years, we would have offered training to approximately 60 clinical Directors / Network Leads. This course details causes and stages of conflict, communication, de-escalation strategies and what to do after conflict. It is an integral part of our strategy with regards to managing Bullying, Undermining and Harassment (BUH) in the context of surgical teams.
