Open Council
Open Council is chaired by the President and meets for 2 1/2 hours four times a year (Februray, May, September and December).
In recognition that vascular service delivery is multi-professional the Open Council of the Vascular Society is constituted of the:

- The Presidents of the Affiliated Vascular Societies:
- Socierty of Vascular Nurses (SVN)
- British Sociery of Interventional Radiology (BSIR)

- British Associetion of Chartered Physiotherapists in Limb Amputee Rehabilitation (BACPAR)
- Rouleux Club (both the Rouleaux Club President and Vice-President attend open Council)
