The Diabetic Foot Conference includes lectures on the Charcot Foot but also covers other aspects of the diabetic foot.
The Charcot Foot is becoming an increasing problem not only to orthopaedic surgeons but also to vascular surgeons, as 50% of presenting Charcot feet coming to orthopaedic reconstruction have significant vascular disease and need revascularisation.
The aim of the conference is to emphasise the revascularisation and surgical reconstruction of the diabetic foot. including the Charcot Foot.
