RCSEng North West Surgical Trials Centre (NWSTC) is holding its ‘The Future of Surgical Trials in the North West’ event on the afternoon of Thursday 28th March ‘19 in Warrington.
This is a free event. Colleagues from all specialities and regions are welcome to attend to hear informative and inspiring talks on:
- The NIHR CRN Core Trainee Programme
- The RCSEng Associate Principal Investigator and Surgical Study Leave Initiatives
- The importance of surgical trials in orthopaedic research and how to get them funded
- How surgical trials and increasing the biomedical understanding via pre-op studies makes better breast surgeons
- The implications of changed device legislation and registration in surgical device studies
- The importance of Big Data in surgical research and how to overcome the hurdles in their usage
- Becoming involved in a Trainee Research Collaborative
