SUMMARY:Inaugural SAS / LED Vascular Surgery Education Day

DESCRIPTION:​The Education and Committee Chair, Patrick Coughlin is delighted to announce that the first SAS / LED doctor education event which will take part virtually (zoom platform) on the 27th June from 10:00 to 16:00 on Zoom.\n\nThe focus of the educational day will include clinical updates with case based discussions covering abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and carotid disease. The day will also include sessions on equality diversity and inclusion, CESR (Certificate for Eligibility for Specialist Registration) and an update on the FRCS Vascular exam.\n\nThe faculty includes Sadasivam Selvakumar, Keith Jones, Patrick Coughlin, Ansy Egun, Kamran Khan, Sophie Renton, Jon Ghosh, Kaji Sritharan and Arun Pherwani. \n\nThe training day will cover important areas of every vascular surgeon's practice, where we currently are with CESR and how to assemble a high quality CESR portfolio.
